Public Safety: Clean Hands are Safe Hands
- Safe hands do not spread germs.
- Wash your hands with soap and warm water for 20 seconds:
- if you are preparing or eating food;
- after going to the bathroom or changing a diaper;
- after tending to someone who is sick;
- after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing;
- after handling an animal or waste
- after handling garbage;
- before or after treating a cut or wound.
