Public Safety: Clean Hands are Safe Hands

  • Safe hands do not spread germs. 
  • Wash your hands with soap and warm water for 20 seconds:
  • if you are preparing or eating food;
  • after going to the bathroom or changing a diaper;
  • after tending to someone who is sick;
  • after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing;
  • after handling an animal or waste
  • after handling garbage;
  • before or after treating a cut or wound.
