Wheels in Motion: Sandwiched!

After a fender-bender collision, passengers of the vehicles usually get out of the car and exchange information. If there are no injuries and the vehicles can be moved safely, park the vehicles in a safe place and activate the four-way flashers.  Once out of the vehicle, do not stand between the cars, using the hood as a surface to write down information.  You run the risk of being sandwiched in between the cars by another collision.  To avoid injury, stand away from the road and the vehicles or sit inside one of the cars.
